Compensation & Schedule

• Home daily – local routes
• Day shift (typical start early morning)

PARR is looking for a safety-minded, customer-focused Truss Crane Operator to join our Sunnyside team. In this role, you will deliver roof and floor trusses to residential and commercial jobsites, operate crane equipment to place materials safely, and help ensure customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition.

What You’ll Do

· Safely load, transport, and unload roof and floor trusses using a commercial motor vehicle and crane.

· Travel to jobsites throughout the service area while following all DOT, state, and company safety requirements.

· Complete daily vehicle inspections, brake inspections, crane inspections, delivery paperwork, and required documentation.

· Verify loads for accuracy and follow delivery procedures, including taking photos after each delivery.

· Communicate professionally with customers, builders, framers, dispatchers, production teams, and plant leadership.

· Keep assigned truck clean, organized, supplied, and ready for safe operation.

· Identify and report safety issues, equipment concerns, accidents, or incidents promptly.

What We’re Looking For

· High school diploma or GED equivalent.

· Must be 21 years of age or older.

· Class A CDL with a good driving record and air-brake endorsement required.

· Current DOT Medical Card required.

· Current NCCCO certification, rigging/signaling certification, and Washington Lift Director certification preferred or required based on assignment.

· Ability to read, write, and speak English as needed to safely perform the job.

· Strong customer service skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Familiarity with GPS, route planning, delivery documentation, and vehicle safety inspections.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

· Work is performed at a truss manufacturing facility and at customer job sites in all weather conditions.

· Must be able to sit for extended periods, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 90 lbs.

· Required footwear includes puncture-resistant, slip-resistant shoes made of leather or composite material with protective toe and ankle support.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 – $40.00 per hour depending on experience. PARR offers a benefits package that may include medical, dental, and vision coverage; retirement plan options; paid time off; paid holidays; and other company-provided benefits based on eligibility.
