Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, creative, and compassionate Full-Time Activities Assistant to join our vibrant life enrichment team. In this role, you will help plan, organize, and lead daily activities that bring joy, engagement, and a sense of community to our residents. If you love connecting with seniors and making a meaningful difference every day, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead group activities including arts and crafts, music, games, and discussion groups.

  • Conduct one-on-one visits with residents who cannot attend group events.

  • Assist in planning monthly activity calendars and decorating the facility for holidays.

  • Set up activity rooms and transport residents safely to and from events.

  • Document resident participation and progress according to regulatory guidelines.

  • Encourage and motivate residents to maintain their hobbies and social connections.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care setting preferred.

  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

  • Outgoing personality with a passion for serving the elderly population.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.

  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or holidays as needed.
