About the role

  • We are seeking a highly driven, detail-oriented Global Supply Chain Manager to build and scale our global supply chain in a fast-paced hardware startup environment. This role is for someone who can operate both strategically and hands-on, supporting the design of the supply chain architecture while also executing day-to-day operations with precision. You will own the end-to-end supply chain for one or more core products, acting as the connective tissue between engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and business stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong operational judgment, deep understanding of manufacturing and sourcing dynamics, disciplined execution, and the ability to anticipate and mitigate risk in an evolving environment.

What you'll do

  • Own supply chain strategy and execution, from early supplier selection through production ramp and ongoing operations
  • Build a global supply chain from scratch, including sourcing strategy, supplier qualification, contract manufacturing partnerships, logistics, and inventory models
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product, bill of materials (BOM), cost drivers, lead times, and manufacturing constraints
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, quality, finance, and product teams to ensure designs are supply-chain ready
  • Identify, onboard, and manage global suppliers and contract manufacturers (CMs)
  • Establish and maintain clear supply chain plans covering demand forecasting, capacity planning, material readiness, and production schedules
  • Own supplier performance management, including cost, quality, delivery, and risk metrics
  • Proactively identify risks related to supply continuity, cost, quality, and scalability; and drive mitigation plans
  • Support cost modeling, budgeting, and margin analysis with a strong understanding of supply chain trade-offs
  • Drive continuous improvement across sourcing, procurement, logistics, and inventory processes
  • Prepare and present clear, data-driven supply chain updates to leadership, including risks, constraints, and recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in supply chain, operations, sourcing, or manufacturing roles, preferably in hardware environments
  • Proven experience building or scaling a supply chain, ideally in a startup or early-growth company
  • Proven track record managing supply chains for integrated hardware products that combine silicon, sensors, optics, and embedded systems
  • Strong understanding of global sourcing, contract manufacturing, and supplier management
  • Hands-on experience with BOMs, lead times, cost structures, and production planning
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and finance teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level updates
  • Ability to operate effectively in environments with ambiguity, speed, and high ownership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp
  • Background in electronics, hardware, robotics, industrial, or consumer products
  • Experience working with international suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • Familiarity with quality systems, supplier audits, and corrective action processes
  • Experience balancing cost, risk, and speed in constrained or fast-changing supply environments
  • Comfort switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution
  • Experience in Physical AI, robotics, or autonomous systems supply chains supporting customers in warehouse automation, AMRs, humanoids, robotic arms, autonomous vehicles, or last-mile delivery
  • Background in sensor or electro-optical hardware manufacturing, particularly depth sensing, 3D imaging, LiDAR, or camera module supply chains

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Flexible vacation and time-off policy
  • Collaborative, fast-paced, and inclusive work environment
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies with a highly cross-functional team
