The Supply Chain Planning team within Cloud supply chain operations, is responsible for optimal fulfillment and transformation of Google’s fleet by balancing and shaping demand intent from product areas, planning new technology, and driving supply capability across data centers, networking, and machines.

As a Demand and Supply Planning Program Manager, you will be accountable for the order life-cycle, culminating in on-time product delivery. In this cross-functional role you will use your investigative skills to establish and drive metrics, drive process and system improvements to accomplish efficiency and scalability goals, and directly support growing infrastructure at global data centers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop planning models for new product introduction (NPI) driving alignment across product categories and establishing optimized inventory strategies.
  • Own supply and demand models that seek to minimize total costs while maintaining/improving service levels.
  • Establish methods (e.g., statistical models, processes, and software tools) to evaluate the supply chain’s ability to meet customer demand and develop inventory buffer strategies that optimize cost and flexibility.
  • Lead demand and supply planning meetings with cross-functional teams, reviewing supply, demand risks/mitigation options/service level goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to procure materials and ensure availability to fulfill customer needs while driving operational efficiency.
