Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test programs and test infrastructure for display ICs and modules (e.g., TCONs, DDICs, µLED driver ICs)
- Design and debug test hardware and software for lab and high-volume production environments
- Conduct detailed electrical and optical validation of display components at wafer, panel, and system levels
- Analyze production and characterization data to identify trends, improve yield, and enhance performance
- Lead the integration of display ICs into modules, subassemblies, or end products, ensuring electrical, optical, and thermal compatibility
- Collaborate with system design, packaging, and process teams to resolve integration, reliability, and performance challenges in early-stage prototypes and production systems
- Drive the validation of KPIs of integrated display solutions under nominal and corner-case operating conditions
- Define and execute reliability and qualification test plans for new display technologies in accordance with relevant industry standards and technology requirements
- Define criteria and manage execution of stress tests such as temperature cycling, high temperature operating life (HTOL), bias temperature stress (BTS), humidity testing, and others
- Drive failure analysis and root cause investigations of qualification or field returns, and provide clear reports and corrective actions
- Ensure all reliability and qualification milestones are met to support product release schedules
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a closely related field
- 8+ years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, product engineering, REL / QUAL, process engineering, or advanced integration and packaging (e.g. CoWoS)
- Experience with analog and digital circuit test development and optical/electrical measurement techniques
- Familiarity with reliability and qualification standards relevant to displays and semiconductor components (JEITA, JEDEC, etc.)
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional test engineering, device integration, or REL/QUAL projects
- Proficiency in programming languages and algorithms such as Python
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with lab and ATE tools used in display testing (e.g., SMUs, Oscilloscopes, spectroradiometers, image capture systems, Advantest 93k, Teradyne UltraFLEX)
- Familiarity with display panel assembly processes and optical inspection techniques
- Familiarity and experience with III-V material physics, especially LEDs and microLEDs
- Expertise in advanced semiconductor packaging technologies such as COWOS, wafer reconstitution, InFO, or Hybrid Bonding
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as JMP or R
- Experience in yield analysis, process optimization, or failure analysis for display products
