PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Establish and update various Quality Assurance data files, logs, spreadsheets and databases; process and verify completeness and accuracy of quality assurance forms, distribute standard reports, summaries, trends and graphs according to established procedures.

WORKING PROCEDURE AND/OR RESPONSIBILITY ASSIGNED:

THE FOLLOWING ARE THE USUAL MAJOR JOB DUTIES BUT THIS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT PRECLUDE THE PERFORMANCE OF OTHER DUTIES BY THE INCUMBENT, NOR THE QUESTION BEING RAISED ON THE PROPER RATE OF PAY FOR THE ASSIGNMENT.

1. Establish and update data in manual logging systems, files, computer spreadsheets and databases.

2. General standard reports, summaries, trends, graphs and other similar documentation for review of assigned databases and files.

3. Review nonconformance reports and other quality documents for completeness and accuracy. Add any required information and identify incomplete or inaccurate data and resolve discrepancies and required based on established guidelines.

4. Prepare Quality Assurance documentation for transmittal to the customer and other departments where procedures are established.

5. Issue and control the distribution of inspection forms, instruction check lists, etc.

6. Establish and maintain various files and records, auditing documents for completeness and accuracy prior to filling.

7. Maintain a working knowledge of department systems and procedures as they relate to position responsibilities.

8. Perform work of equal or lower code level as required.

This is a Union represented position.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

  • 1 year experience performing document handling and filing tasks.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (i.e. excel, word, outlook, etc).

  • US Citizenship is required.

  • Ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year work experience in performing process audits.

  • 1 year work experience in maintaining working logs, scanning documents, labelling, etc.

  • A current/active US Government Secret Clearance.
