Position Summary: 

The Computer Support Specialist will provide technical assistance and answers to users’ questions, assisting users by troubleshooting problems with computer hardware or software. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Identifies, investigates, and resolves users’ problems with computer software and hardware. 
  2. Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding software programming, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns.
  3. Consults with users to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem.
  4. Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions.
  5. Gathers feedback from end users to continue to improve systems.
  6. Coordinates and conducts organization-wide IT security training and educational campaigns. 
  7. Reviews IT requirements and provides objective advice on the use of IT security measures. 
  8. Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products. 
  9. Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends. 
  10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. 
  • At least three years of experience in customer technical support highly preferred. 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills 
  • Professional and pleasant telephone manner
  • Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees and customers 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software 
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software

Work Schedule:

Community Care Plan is currently following a hybrid work schedule. The company reserves the right to change the work schedules based on the company needs.
*Must reside in the South Florida area and be able to commute to our office as needed
