We are seeking a positive, empathetic, dedicated, and professional Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) to join our team!  Acadiana Treatment Center (ATC) is a 45-bed residential treatment center providing behavioral health services to adolescent females ages 12 - 17 in the Sunset area.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership
• Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional approach with patients and team members
• Address patient concerns promptly and respectfully to support satisfaction and safety
• Recognize and respond to patient needs with safety as a top priority

*Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift/carry up to 100 pounds, push/pull up to 100 pounds, grasp, squeeze, bend, stoop, twist, crouch, squat, kneel, crawl, reach, repetitive arm/wrist/hand use, walk on uneven surfaces, stand, walk in order to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent and
• Two years of experience working with a similar patient population or,
• Associate's degree
• CPR and de escalation and restraint certification required. Training provided upon hire
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements
