The ideal candidate can manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, coordinate schedules, and support a variety of administrative and facilities functions. Additional Responsibilities: This role supports housing programs, grant activities, and daily facilities operations through application processing, inspections, meeting coordination, recordkeeping, work order tracking, and administrative support for the Facilities Director.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of administrative experience supporting leadership required.
• Experience providing professional customer service; housing, tenant/landlord, or property management experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and the ability to learn new software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals and maintain positive working relationships.
• Ability to sit, stand and move throughout the workday; must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Certificates and Licenses: A valid Alaska Driver’s license and the ability to be insured on CVTC’s vehicle insurance policy is a requirement of this position.
Hiring Preferences: As allowed in P.L. 93-638, preference for employment will be given to Alaska Native and American Indian peoples. CVTC also applies family and local hiring preferences.
