The ideal candidate believes in accountability through encouragement, values collaboration with treatment providers and community partners, and is dedicated to helping participants build resilience, maintain sobriety, and successfully reintegrate into their families, culture, and community. This role is perfect for someone who can balance structured supervision with empathy while advancing our mission of helping our citizens and community thrive.

Additional Responsibilities: Collaborate with Tribal Court, treatment providers, Elders, and community partners to support participant success through restorative justice and reentry planning. Maintain accurate case documentation and court reports, participate in ongoing professional development, contribute to program improvement, and uphold organizational standards while advancing culturally grounded healing, accountability, and community wellness.

Qualifications, Education & Experience: 

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required; college coursework in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
• Must be willing to attend out-of-state Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) or Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) training within six months of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Certificates and Licenses: A valid Alaska Driver’s license and the ability to be insured on CVTC’s vehicle insurance policy is a requirement of this position.

Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Background Check: This position requires you to complete and pass a pre-employment state and federal background check and drug screening as a condition of employment. This position is subject to random drug testing.
