What you will do:
- Support the design, configuration, maintenance, and improvement of industrial control and automation systems used in pipeline operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving PLCs, SCADA systems, field instrumentation, communications networks, and operator interfaces.
- Support ongoing operations by identifying technical issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Assist with facility upgrades, equipment replacements, and capital projects involving automation and control systems.
- Participate in testing, commissioning, startup, and turnover activities for new equipment and system modifications.
- Configure and support PLC programs, HMI applications, historian systems, and industrial communication networks.
- Work with field devices such as transmitters, switches, flow meters, control valves, pumps, and related instrumentation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, procedures, system configurations, and standards.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors, and equipment vendors to deliver reliable technical solutions.
- Find opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
Who you are:
You have:
- 2+ years of relevant industrial automation or control systems experience in addition to a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, chemical engineering, process control engineering or a related subject area
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record that will be verified upon hire
You can:
- Offer prior experience troubleshooting control system issues in an industrial environment while being able to manage multiple assignments and priorities Â
- Show working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial communications, and field instrumentation
You are:
- An excellent written and verbal communicator who values teamwork with strong organization skills Â
The following are considered assets:
- Experience with Rockwell Automation products including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000, Factory/Talk View, and Factory Talk applications
- Experience with industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP and Modbus
- Experience commissioning PLCs, instrumentation and industrial control systems
- Familiarity with industrial networking and cybersecurity concepts
- Experience working in oil and gas, pipelines, utilities, manufacturing, mining or other process industries
- Engineer In Training (EIT) designation or progress toward professional registration

Salary:
- Ranges from $68,500 – $95,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
- Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
Working Conditions:
- Work performed in a combination of office and field settings. Occasional work at industrial facilities, pump stations, terminals, and related operating locations
- Travel to field locations and regional offices may be needed 10-20% of the time
- Occasional after-hours support may be necessary to assist with operational issues, commissioning activities or project start ups
- Participation in an on-call support rotation may be required  Â

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
