The HSET Superintendent is responsible for managing and mentoring the project underground safety team in all
aspects related to HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) including, but not limited to, HSE management systems
including regulatory and client compliance, project risk management, compliance to HSE Standards,
Occupational Hygiene, and Injury/Illness management.
In this position, the HSET Superintendent will interface with MSHA and State Mine Inspectors regarding
compliance with all aspects of health and safety under the direction of the Project Manager and Project
Superintendent. The Safety Superintendent is responsible for supporting operations and management of the
implementation and continuous operation of all RUSAC safety plans, and all applicable federal and state
regulations, to facilitate Redpath’s Safety- First, Last and Always practices.
