 At Superior Choice Credit Union, our Tellers are more than transaction processors. They are trusted financial guides, relationship builders, and the friendly faces that welcome our members every day. As a Teller II, you’ll help members manage their finances while delivering an exceptional experience every time they visit.
What You’ll Do
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, money orders, and other member transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Help members discover products and services that meet their financial needs and support their goals.
- Build meaningful relationships through outstanding service, genuine conversations, and a welcoming branch experience.
- Answer member questions and provide solutions with confidence and care, escalating complex issues when appropriate.
- Open, maintain, and close member accounts while ensuring records and required reports are accurate and complete.
- Maintain compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulations, including confidentiality requirements.
- Support branch goals while contributing to a positive, team-oriented culture.
- Represent SCCU’s mission of improving the financial well-being of our members and travel to other branch locations as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous customer service, cash handling, retail, banking, or related experience.
- Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive member relationships.
- Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Organized and able to follow procedures consistently.
- Comfortable learning new systems, products, and processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel to other branch locations as needed.
