Description

  

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep, safety, and functionality of the organization’s buildings, equipment, and grounds. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.

Requirements

  

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on various systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural elements of the facility.

Change filters on all required machinery and equipment.

 Address unexpected breakdowns and perform repairs on equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality.

 Participate in the creation of emergency response plans and be on-call for urgent maintenance issues.

 Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on the facility.

 Work closely with the Facility Maintenance Manager and other team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

 Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

 Relevant certifications such as HVAC, OSHA, or electrical licenses preferred.
