Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – School Setting

Surprise, AZ | Full-Time | W-2 | $30–$36 per hour

Make a meaningful difference in a student’s school day as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse with HealthPRO Pediatrics.

This position provides one-on-one nursing care for a student in a school setting. The LPN must be comfortable riding the school bus with the student to and from school.

Responsibilities

Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ health and wellness.
Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services
Provide nursing services through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA’s code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s

Qualifications

Current Arizona LPN license
Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
Current CPR certification from an accredited agency
Must include an in-person skills component; online-only certification is not accepted
Current First Aid certification from an accredited agency
Ability to provide required employment-verification documentation
