Job DetailsJob Location: NRHC - Susanville, CA 96130Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $128,000.00 - $168,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: DayJob Category: Professional ServicesMedical Director & Clinical Provider | $30,000 Medical Director Stipend  Northeastern Rural Health Clinics – Susanville, California  Position Summary  Northeastern Rural Health Clinics (NRHC) is seeking an experienced FNP, MD, or DO to provide patient care while also serving as the organization’s Medical Director.  The Medical Director role is not a standalone position. The selected candidate will be hired into a clinical provider position based on their license and specialty, with Medical Director responsibilities added to that role.  Approximately 20% of the position will be dedicated to Medical Director responsibilities, with the remaining time focused on patient care. The Medical Director role comes with an additional $30,000 annual stipend on top of the compensation for the underlying clinical position.  Medical Director Responsibilities  The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership across NRHC and work closely with the CEO, clinical leadership, and providers. Responsibilities include:  Supporting quality, safe, and consistent patient care across the organization  Providing clinical guidance and support to NRHC providers  Helping develop and review clinical policies, protocols, and standards of care  Participating in quality improvement, risk management, and peer review activities  Supporting provider onboarding, credentialing, privileging, and ongoing performance  Assisting with clinical concerns, patient-care issues, and provider communication  Supporting compliance with federal, state, and FQHC requirements  Serving as a clinical voice on the leadership team  Continuing to provide patient care as an FNP, MD, or DO  Compensation and Benefits  Family Nurse Practitioner: $128,000–$168,000 annually  Physician (MD/DO): Starting range of $200,000–$269,000 annually, with higher compensation ranges available for certain specialties  Additional $30,000 annual Medical Director stipend  Approximately 20% protected time for Medical Director responsibilities  Sign-on bonus based on the underlying clinical position and eligibility  Relocation assistance up to $10,000  40 hours of paid CME time annually  $2,000 annual CME allowance  Health and retirement benefits  Paid time off and paid holidays  Professional liability coverage  Federal and state loan-repayment programs may be available  Physician compensation will be based on specialty and experience.
