Summer Merchandiser
Looking for a fun and fast-paced summer job outside of the office? Beer Capitol Distributing, LLC, in Sussex, WI is now hiring for Summer Merchandiser. Our Summer Merchandisers assist in providing in-store support to our accounts by merchandising and stocking beer at local grocery and liquor stores. Merchandising includes stocking shelves, building displays, installing POS, as well as keeping POS presentable, rotating stock, and ensuring products are presented for consumer purchase.
Schedule:
This is a full-time seasonal position which requires full weekend availability. Start times are typically between 7AM-8AM and end times between 4PM-5PM. The actual schedule of this position will be determined at a later date.
Required availability the week before and week of holidays.
Compensation:
$18/hour and mileage reimbursement at the standard IRS mileage rate.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Maintaining fresh product at retail by rotating, reorganizing, and refilling shelves and coolers
- Communicating with sales representatives on a regular basis
- Handle inventory and reorganize back stocks, refill cold boxes, shelves, displays and dust product as needed
- Ability to build displays, fix shelving, hang signage
Requirements
Skills and Abilities include:
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent inter-personal skills; friendly, personable, and approachable
- Goal oriented and focused
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance is required
Physical Requirements include:
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
- Walk and stand for long periods of time; bending, twisting, squatting, lifting
- Climbing up and down ladders
