The Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and leading the entire supply chain of our organization. Responsibilities span from planning and sourcing to manufacturing, delivery, and life cycle management. Your goal is to maintain low costs while striving for high efficiency, ensuring smooth operations throughout the supply chain. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sourcing & Procurement:
    • Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
    • Lead sourcing and procurement strategy in collaboration with sales management to optimize cost, lead time and quality.
    • Oversee supplier performance and initiatives that lead to continuous improvement in results.
  • Scheduling:
    • Provide oversight for production scheduling methods utilizing demand forecasts and capacity constraints.
    • Optimize production flow by coordinating material availability and production timelines.
    • Ensure timely delivery of material to meet customer demands.
    • Own and implement the master scheduling function, including rough cut capacity planning, Supply Review S&OP step, and order confirmation process
    • Drive the implementation and execution of the S&OP process on the supply side, with the support of the Director of Operations
  • Material Planning Optimization:
    • Define strategies to optimize material planning utilizing appropriate manufacturing strategies.
    • Analyze demand patterns and adjust procurement plans accordingly.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production schedules with material availability.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Create and manage inventory optimization strategies to achieve target inventory turns while maintaining customer on-time delivery.
  • Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliable and consistent deliveries.
    • Evaluate supplier performance, address issues, and drive continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with suppliers on cost reduction initiatives.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Optimization:
    • Drive initiatives that will improve material flow from receiving to production and overall material movement through outbound shipping.
    • Participate in strategic planning discussions related to production capacity, lead times, and risk management.
    • Drive long-term supply chain optimization efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant functional certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management, APICS CPIM)
  • Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) is preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and relevant software (ERP systems).
  • Previous and proven experience leading teams.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MRP systems and advanced planning tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience in an electrical products manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Sourcing experience related to both electrical and mechanical components is preferred
