PAY RATE: Hourly, up to $22/hr CLASS: Part-Time / Seasonal HOURS: Vary depending on Event Schedule; evenings, weekends, and holidays required RESPONSIBILITY: Prepare and serve beverages efficiently while maintaining a high level of hospitality and responsible alcohol service. REPORTING TO: Event Coordinator EXPECTATIONS We are hiring experienced Event Bartenders to deliver exceptional beverage service during weddings, culinary events, and private gatherings at Black Star Farms. As an Event Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable guest experience. You will also represent the Black Star Farms brand by promoting our wines and spirits, and maintaining responsible alcohol service. Event Bartender Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and serve wine, cocktails, and specialty beverages Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event Ensure responsible alcohol service and check IDs when necessary Set up and break down bar stations before and after events Manage bar inventory and communicate supply needs Provide recommendations and promote Black Star Farms wines Maintain safety and sanitary standards Assist guests with beverage selections and requests Work closely with Event Coordinator/Banquet Captain to ensure efficient service QualificationsREQUIREMENTS Must be at least 21 years of age Minimum 1–2 years bartending experience preferred TAMs/TIPS certification required (BSF will provide if needed) Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine service, and bar operations Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume environment Strong guest service and communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Professional appearance and positive demeanor
