Who You Are:

The Global Process Owner (GPO) over Capital Delivery is accountable for the design, standardization, governance, and integrity of a critical cross-functional business process across QTS. This role definesthe scope of the end-to-end processand ensures it isexecuted effectively, consistently, and with appropriate controls across the global enterprise.It is accountable for tracking the business value realization of improvements to the end-to-end process.Ā 

The GPO operates within the enterprise GPO operating model, partnering closely with the functional leaders who own the management systems, executive cadences, and outcomes of the underlying work and the GPO Leader (who governs enterprise‑wide process standards and consistency). This role ensures the process design, data, controls, and standards enable business outcomes, are decision‑grade and scalable.Ā 

What You Will Do: (Job Responsibilities)Ā Ā Ā 

Process Ownership & GovernanceĀ 

Own end‑to‑end accountability for a specificprocess domain and its design, including process boundaries, decision points, controls, and escalation paths across all processes and subprocesses.Ā 

Ā 

  • Define and maintain the end-to-end global process design, scope and taxonomy (L1–L5), including standardized definitions, ownership, handoffs, and documentation aligned with enterprise process standards. Partner with business stakeholders to ensure business process designs effectively meet business objectives.Ā 

  • Enforce process governance including stage gates, reconciliations, approval frameworks, and exception handling.Establish and lead process council reviews to evaluate process performance, communicate process health and ensure process roadmaps are aligned with executive stakeholder expectations.Ā 

  • Manage intake, prioritization,sequencing and approval of underlying process changes, assessing enterprise impacts, risk, and control implications.Ā 

  • Ensure governance for the end-to-end process aligns with enterprise initiative and process governance frameworks.Ā 

Standards, Controls & Data IntegrityĀ 

  • Develop and maintain standardized artifacts, including process maps, SOPs, calendars, RACIs, control points, and KPI definitions.Ā 

  • Define and govern critical data elements and assumptions, including ownership, lineage, validation rules, and data quality thresholds in coordination with QTS data owners.Ā 

  • Hold sign-off authority on system changes that impact the end-to-end process.Partner with systems and data teams to translate process standards into system requirements and embedded controls.Influence technology roadmaps to support business process design and support IT teams in technical delivery of any changes to theend-to-end process.Ā Ā 

  • Apply and evolve the GPO Playbook to ensure consistent documentation depth, governance rigor, and audit readiness.Ā

Performance Monitoring & Continuous ImprovementĀ 

  • Define, maintain and report process KPIs focused onend-to-end process cycle times andprocess effectiveness, quality and compliance.Clearly link process KPIs to overall QTS enterprise objectives.Ā 

  • Use analytics and process insights to identify bottlenecks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities.Identify and remediate root causes affecting process health using data-driven decision making.Ā 

  • Drive prioritized process improvements that strengthencycle time, quality, employee experience and profitability. Establish a mechanism for capturing and reporting value realization of process improvements.Ā

Enablement & AdoptionĀ 

  • Support adoption of process standards through training guidance, communications, readiness criteria, and compliance reinforcement.Ā 

  • Coordinate rollout of process changes with key functional stakeholders and enterprise change partners.Ā 

  • Reinforce disciplined planning behaviors and adherence to enterprise standards.Ā 

Ā 

Scope and ImpactĀ 

  • Enterprise‑wide ownership and decision rights forend-to-end process designs, standards, KPIs and controlsĀ 

  • Regular interaction with senior functional leaders; drives process council forums and escalationsĀ 

  • Direct influence on process execution consistency, data integrity, and qualityĀ 

  • Measures the business value of process improvements and demonstratesclear linkage to overall QTS business objectivesĀ

Initial Focus Area: Capital DeliveryĀ 

  • The Capital Delivery Global Process Owner is accountable for the end-to-end processes associated with the planning, development, execution and turnover of capital projects across the QTS portfolio. This orleis responsible forestablishing standardized, scalable and controlled processes that enable predictabledelivery of capacity, schedule, cost and quality objectives.Ā 

  • This role’s process scope includes:Ā 

  • Capital project initiation and governanceĀ Ā 

  • Project intake, prioritization, and funding approvalsĀ Ā 

  • Integrated project planning and schedulingĀ Ā 

  • Design development and design managementĀ Ā 

  • Procurement and contract administrationĀ Ā 

  • Construction execution and controlsĀ Ā 

  • Change order and risk managementĀ Ā 

  • Cost management and forecastingĀ Ā 

  • Commissioning and readiness validationĀ Ā 

  • Asset capitalization and financial closeoutĀ Ā 

  • Turnover to Facilities OperationsĀ Ā 

  • Governance of process handoffs, decision points, controls, roles and accountabilities across Development, Design & Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance, Facilities Operations and other stakeholder groupsĀ 

  • Ownership of process requirements related to master data, process controls, metrics, reporting and system integrations supporting the processesĀ 

What You Will Need to Be Successful: (Required Qualifications, Education, Experience, Certifications)Ā Ā Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceĀ 

  • 7 -10yrs of experience in real estate, finance, engineering, project management,or enterprise planning within a complex, high growth environmentĀ 

  • 5+ years in a process ownership, business transformation, or planning leadership role with demonstrated accountability for governance, standardization, controls, and KPI managementĀ 

  • Demonstrated success establishing governance, standards, controls, and KPIs in complex environmentsĀ 

  • Demonstrated experience designing or improving end-to-end planning processes that connect demand, capacity, capital, and operational executionĀ 

  • Strong influence skills in matrixed organizations without direct authorityĀ 

  • Demonstrated success partnering with data, systems, and analytics teams to define business requirements, data standards, controls, dashboards, and decision‑grade reportingĀ 

  • Ability to present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholder audiencesĀ 

  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft CoPilotĀ

  • Experience in data center, mission-critical infrastructure, real estate development, utilities, telecommunications or large-scale construction environmentsĀ 

  • PMP, PgMP or similar professional certificationĀ 

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt from an accredited organizationĀ
