Position Type: Internship

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering intern to assist in digitizing legacy tooling and die drawings. This role is ideal for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) who have a strong interest in CAD systems and manufacturing processes.


Responsibilities

  • Convert paper-based tooling and die drawings into digital CAD files for long-term storage and backup.

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency when transferring data from physical diagrams to CAD workflow.

  • Organize and maintain digital files within the company’s CAD system.

  • Collaborate with engineering and tooling teams to clarify specifications as needed.


Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a BSME program.

  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling preferred.
