Repair Technician - Cabinets

Job DetailsJob Location: Suwanee - Suwanee, GA 30024The Cabinet Repair Technician is expected to address customer and homeowner concerns regarding the installation services and materials AFDC provides our builders. Repair Technicians serve the critical function of satisfying repair, touch up and punch work for our customers. They are also expected to report non-compliant installation practices to Atlanta Flooring's Installation department for training opportunities and back charges. This position is a field-based position that does require local travel (no overnight travel). This role works with mobile technology such as a company-owned iPad and iPhone for reporting and communication purposes. Other required duties may be assigned. Candidates for this position must have previous experience in cabinet repairs. He or she must have strong interpersonal skills and a talent for working with variety of personalities. Good written communication skills, time management, professional speech, and behavior are all required for this position. Verbal fluency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred but is not required. The candidate must have reliable transportation, as Flooring Repair Technicians are required to drive their own vehicle for work. A vehicle allowance as well as a fuel card will be included with the compensation package.   Benefits: Bi-weekly payroll via direct deposit Eligible to participate in group health, dental & vision insurance plans after 60 days full-time employment. Supplemental life, accident, cancer and short-term disability insurance available after 60 days full-time employment Retirement Plans: Employee Stock Ownership Plan and 401(K) with match Paid Time Off (PTO) from first day of employment Qualifications Previous experience in cabinet operations and/or installation is required Must have experience operating power tools such as, miter saw, jig saw, nail gun, etc. High attention-to-detail Strong customer service skills Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to kneel, bend and/or squat when necessary Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must have satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Must have reliable vehicle to drive for work
