Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Nursing Home Program – Southeastern Massachusetts
Healthcare United is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a respected, multi-specialty healthcare group serving patients in a nursing home and primary care setting near the Fall River and Swansea, Massachusetts area. This is a full-time, permanent position offering exceptional flexibility, autonomy, and strong clinical support within a collaborative team environment.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced Advanced Practice Providers seeking schedule flexibility while maintaining a meaningful clinical role in a supportive and patient-centered setting.
Position Overview
- Provide primary care services to patients within a nursing home and outpatient program
- Full-time position, approximately 30 to 40 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling with option for 4 or 5 days per week
- No required nights and no required on-call responsibilities
- No required weekends, with the option to shift days or work weekends if preferred
- Flexible start and end times based on provider availability
- Individualized scheduling to support personal and family responsibilities
- Ability to step away during the workday if needed with appropriate coverage
- Practice with a collaborative, team-oriented group offering clinical autonomy and support
- Practice located within convenient distance to Providence, Newport, Cape Cod, and the greater Boston region
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active or pending Massachusetts licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of primary care experience preferred
- Experience in nursing home, geriatric, or primary care settings preferred
- Active DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Clean malpractice history
- Portuguese language skills are a plus but not required
