Network Administrator – Apple/Mac Environment

Swansea, MA | Full-time
40 hours/week

Schedule: Monday - Friday with flexibility in scheduling

$23.91/hr. – $25.00/hr.

Technology matters here because people matter here.

We are seeking a hands-on Network Administrator to support a primarily Apple/macOS-based environment in an organization focused on caring for youth. This is not a traditional corporate IT job — your work directly supports the people who rely on these systems every day. From keeping staff connected to ensuring critical technology runs reliably, the impact of your work will be visible and meaningful.

This is a role that is fast paced and diverse that will involve troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues, configuring Macs, supporting phones, optimizing network performance, and working with security cameras.

The ideal candidate for this position can think critically, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of their work. Most projects are self-directed, and you will have the ability to approach challenges using your technical judgment and experience.

This is a key operational role within the organization. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable planning improvements, managing systems, and being hands-on and in the field when technical issues need immediate attention. The right candidate understands that strong IT support is built through both technical knowledge and a willingness to actively engage with the systems and people that rely on it every day.

 Role Responsibilities

In addition to those mentioned above, some of the main functions of the position include:

  • Maintain and support a predominantly Apple/macOS-based environment – experience working in Apple/macOS environments is required
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
  • Configure and deploy new hardware and software
  • Administer and support Google Workspace services
  • Create and maintain documentation and user guides
  • Assist with infrastructure improvements and technology planning
  • Help maintain compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and organizational security requirements
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

All applicants must pass a background check and provide a reference from a recent supervisor. A valid, current driver’s license for 3 or more years and acceptable driving record are necessary, as there will be occasional travel to one of our off-site locations in Fall River, MA.

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys problem solving, improving systems, and being the person others rely on when technology needs to work correctly the first time.

If that sounds like you, we encourage you to apply.

We’re proud to offer a competitive benefits package to our teams, including:

  • Company-sponsored Medical & Dental Insurance
  • 401(k) plan with employer match
  • Flexible Spending Accounts for medical expenses and dependent care
