Job Summary

The Assistant Branch Manager will assist in leading operational and retail activities of the assigned branch. This individual will ensure high quality customer service, promote current product sales and initiatives, and assist in training of new and existing staff.


Duties and Responsibilities

Ā· Assist the Branch Manager’s efforts in leading the branch in a manner consistent with FSB’s values and high levels of customer service

Ā· Maintain familiarity with the Bank’s personnel policy and consult with the Branch Manager and Human Resources, when necessary, to manage applicable employee leave and/or accommodation requests

Ā· Actively participate in community-related civic organizations and functions to maintain and better the Bank’s market position

Ā· Communicate and train employees on corporate initiatives, new regulations, and monitor, reward, and correct progress and outcome

Ā· Help Branch Manager ensure the branch operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Ā· Counsel personnel as well as actively promoting the growth of branch personnel

Ā· Provide backup for the branch Tellers and New Accounts representatives

Ā· Act as signatory authority for official checks, teller items, teller tickets, wires, and GL tickets among others

Ā· Perform secondary duties as assigned

Requirements

Education, skills, and other requirements:

Ā· Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred

Ā· Experience: 3+ years of banking and/or managerial experience with education or 7+ years without

Ā· Software: Microsoft Office
