Oven Opertator

OVEN OPERATOR

Essential Job Functions:

1. Must use mechanical skills and knowledge to set ovens and oven conveyors.
2. Must have visual observation and manual dexterity when controlling temperatures and times of ovens.
3. Must have a high degree of mental competence to make decisions quickly and react to problems when they occur.
4. Verbally communicates with team members to prevent and correct quality related issues using company telephones and intercom system.
5. Uses a high degree of attention and concentration to maintain the quality and consistency of the product.
6. Must have reading, writing and basic math skills to set temperatures, adjust speeds and document all information to ensure that the product is processed correctly to meet customer specifications according to written and verbal instructions.
7. Must use locking pins on all bins to ensure product is not damaged during storage and transportation.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform housekeeping duties as needed.

2. Reports equipment problems and safety hazards to supervisor.

3. Rotation between Oven Operator, Extruder Operator and Packaging Team.

4. Ability to get along with co-workers and be a team player

5. Other job duties may be assigned.

 6. Use PPE for safety as required by OSHA Standards.
