Ludlum Measurements, Inc. is seeking a dependable Calibrator to join our team in Sweetwater, Texas. The Calibrator I position performs in-house calibration and functional testing. Training and mentoring of new calibrators are provided. Develops and maintains professional working relationships with various customer contacts necessary to accomplish assigned objectives. Maintains accurate and current work order files while adhering to schedule expectations.

Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person


Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Calibrates radiation instruments in accordance with written procedures then accurately documents written calibration certificates.
  • Meets or exceeds daily goals to support sales volume and meet On Time Deliveries (OTD).
  • Works closely with Production Control, Engineering, and Sales to ensure the product meets the customer’s requirements.
  • Accurately enters and maintains data into Ludlum’s Cal Base in accordance with Quality requirements.
  • Remains current on existing and emerging LMI radiation detector calibration procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned




Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional scheduling, communication, organizational, customer, and self-motivational skills are required.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly report to all levels of LMI and customer management.
