About the Role:

The SL Extruder/Packer plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining extrusion and packing machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently. This position ensures that raw materials are properly processed through extrusion equipment and that finished goods are accurately packed according to company standards. The role requires close attention to detail to monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain product consistency. The SL Extruder/Packer collaborates with team members to meet production targets while adhering to safety and quality protocols. Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor extrusion machinery to process raw materials into finished products according to specifications.
• Set up, adjust, and maintain packing equipment to ensure products are securely and accurately packaged.
• Inspect products for quality and consistency, identifying and addressing any defects or irregularities.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to prevent downtime and ensure safe operation.
• Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output goals and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe workplace.
• Document production data and report any equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors.
