About the Role:
Mayne Mechanical LLC is looking for a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Sykesville, MD. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, chillers, air handlers, and boilers
- Perform preventative maintenance on commercial heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues across a variety of commercial systems
- Complete service calls efficiently and professionally at commercial customer sites
- Document service work, parts used, and system conditions accurately in work orders
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and management
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory in a clean and organized manner
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC service and repair experience
- EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification required
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Professional, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills
