About the role

Sylva Valley Health & Rehab is hiring a Hospitality Aide for someone who wants to become a CNA. This is a great entry point into healthcare: you’ll support resident comfort and unit operations while learning the environment—and we’ll help the right person take the next step toward CNA schooling.

CNA Pathway Opportunity

We’re looking for candidates who:

  • Want to become a CNA
     
  • Are reliable and coachable
     
  • Want a long-term career in healthcare
     

Schooling support available for eligible team members (details discussed during interview).

What you’ll do

  • Assist with meal service (set-up, passing trays, clean-up)
     
  • Help keep resident areas tidy and comfortable (stocking supplies, light organizing)
     
  • Deliver water/ice and support hydration rounds (as assigned)
     
  • Answer call lights and notify nursing/CNAs when residents need care
     
  • Support resident experience with kindness, professionalism, and urgency
     
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures
     
  • Assist with activities support or transporting residents (as assigned and permitted)
     

What we’re looking for

  • Strong customer service mindset and a helpful attitude
     
  • Dependable attendance and willingness to learn
     
  • Interest in advancing into a CNA role
     
  • Healthcare, dining, housekeeping, or hospitality experience is a plus (not required)
