Sylva Valley Health & Rehab is hiring an experienced RN Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership, support nursing staff, and help maintain high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing environment.

We are looking for a strong nurse leader who is organized, dependable, clinically skilled, and comfortable managing day-to-day operations on the unit.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinical operations of assigned unit 
  • Support and supervise nurses, CNAs, and medication aides 
  • Monitor resident care, documentation, and follow-up needs 
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination 
  • Review incidents, falls, skin concerns, medications, and changes in condition 
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards 
  • Communicate effectively with providers, residents, families, and leadership 
  • Help maintain staffing support, accountability, and teamwork on the unit 
  • Participate in care plan meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives 

? Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license 
  • Long-Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing experience REQUIRED 
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred 
  • Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills 
  • Dependable attendance and professional communication 
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment
