Job Summary:

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) — to join our healthcare team in Sylvania, OH.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across Speech Therapy services. Working independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

  • Work with 8 ENT Physicians 
  • Patient population consists of voice, upper airway, swallowing disorders, and impairments related to head and neck cancer and laryngeal voice rehabilitation. 
  • Heavy emphasis on videostroboscopy and FEES examinations  
  • Assist postoperative laryngectomy patients and restoring speech after surgery – TEP (Tracheoesophageal puncture) management 
  • Perform and interpret laryngeal imaging and laryngeal function studies 
  • Training in voice assessment and treatment (spoken and/or sung) 
  • Work in partnership with another SLP within the office 

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program in communication sciences and disorders  
  • Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association
  • Licensed or ability to obtain Ohio Licensure
