Position Overview
Sandy Mac Evolution is seeking a Program Security Representative I to support Department of Defense (DoD) Special Access Programs (SAPs) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This position provides comprehensive multi-discipline security support for highly sensitive SAP, SCI, and collateral programs while ensuring compliance with national security policies and protecting classified information critical to U.S. military operations.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted security professional responsible for safeguarding classified information, conducting compliance reviews, supporting Operations Security (OPSEC) initiatives, and advising government leadership on security matters.
Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory)
- 5-7 years of related security experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- Eligible for SCI and SAP access
- Willing to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph
Equivalent Experience
The following certifications may be substituted toward the experience requirement:
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) = 3 years
- Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) = 5 years
- Maximum equivalent experience awarded through SPED certifications is 5 years
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Special Access Program (SAP) experience
- Experience supporting DoD Special Access Programs
- Strong understanding of DoD security regulations and classified program protection
Key Responsibilities
As a Program Security Representative I, you will:
- Provide day-to-day security support for Special Access Programs (SAP), SCI, and collateral activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with:
- NISPOM
- NISPOM Supplement
- DoD Overprint
- DCIDs
- ICDs
- SAP Security Policies
- NISPOM
- Assist in developing and implementing security policies and procedures supporting classified military operations.
- Evaluate existing security procedures and recommend improvements to strengthen program protection.
- Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and security risks affecting operational, testing, and training activities.
- Support the development, implementation, and training of the Operations Security (OPSEC) Program.
- Provide oversight and assistance to contractors and subordinate facilities supporting classified operations.
- Brief government personnel, military leadership, and senior civilian officials on security-related matters.
- Conduct:
- SAP Facility Compliance Reviews
- Follow-up inspections
- Facility closeout inspections
- SAP Facility Compliance Reviews
- Track, monitor, and report corrective actions resulting from compliance inspections.
- Ensure timely reporting of security issues to technical and management personnel.
- Conduct preliminary inquiries involving the loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified information.
- Prepare damage assessments and required documentation following security incidents.
- Coordinate with SAP security personnel to incorporate lessons learned into security education and awareness programs.
