CDL A Local Drivers--Home Daily

Job Details:

Account is out of Syracuse, NY
On this local job, drivers will operate within a 275-mile radius of Syracuse, NY.
- Non-Peak Schedule: Monday-Saturday (each driver will get Sunday and 1 other day off. Days off will not be consecutive.
- Peak Schedule: Sunday-Saturday (each driver will get 1 day off)
- Start time: Normally 0900 (limited opportunity for early dispatch)
- Shift: 12 - 14 hours
- Delivery windows end as late as 8:30 PM
Drivers will be responsible for picking up a load at the shipping facility and delivering between 4-5 stops per day to stores
There will often be multiple loads per day
Trucks are preloaded
22 stops per week average
Delivery consists of unloading pallets using a pallet jack and delivering to the back room of Marshall or TJ Maxx stores.
Approximately 50% of deliveries are not dock deliveries and require using a liftgate to unload from the truck.
Special requirements:

Driver will be responsible for counting pallets and reporting back on BOL what quantity was delivered and communicating any discrepancies. Will be responsible for securing the load between stops.


$1700-$1800 weekly average
