OVERVIEW

Alera Group is looking for a Collegiate Customer Service Representative. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to a high volume of student and parent inquiries via phone and email regarding student health insurance enrollment, waivers, and general coverage questions

  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues while maintaining accurate documentation of interactions, follow-ups, and escalations within internal systems

  • Provide empathetic, professional customer support while collaborating with team members and supervisors to improve service processes during peak enrollment seasons


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior customer service experience required, preferably in a high-volume phone and email support environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to assist students and parents in a professional, patient, and empathetic manner

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and collaboratively during busy seasons


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.
