Correctional health care is a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for today’s medical professional in that it provides the ability to truly utilize all of your learned medical skills and knowledge on a daily basis. It is the perfect hybrid of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine; providing care to an under-served, diverse, and truly appreciative patient population.

We are currently looking for a Full Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide on-site psychiatry services at the Onondaga County Correctional Facility in Jamesville, NY and Onondaga County Justice Center in Syracuse, NY.

This is a 40 hour per week position. Weekly schedule is Monday - Friday, normal business hours shared between the two buildings.

Benefits:

Salaries are negotiable and commensurate based on experience. Salary range $130,000.00 - $150,000.00

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health.
Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York.
Maintain current DEA license.
Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification.
Maintain current Driver’s License.
