Job Purpose

  • The position will report to the Credit & Collections Manager of Reporting & Replevin, serving under the Director of Credit & Collections & Payment Processing. 
  • The successful candidate will oversee a group of Credit & Collections union representatives performing a variety of tasks, ensuring that operational performance metrics are attained, the union contract obligations are met, and that company policies and procedures are followed 

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the daily workflow of the group's operational processes. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards. 
  • Collaborate with team members to set clear performance expectations and goals based on scorecard results. 
  • Manage and resolve escalations by coordinating cross-functional resources, communicating clear status updates to stakeholders, and driving follow-up process improvements to prevent recurrence. 
  • Monitor operational practices for compliance with regulations, laws, and company policies. 
  • Oversee revisions to operational policies and procedures. 
  • Work with other Revenue Cycle Management departments. 
  • Prepare reports in MS-Word, MS-Excel, and/or MS-PowerPoint.

Qualifications

A two- or four-year degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field. 

  • Experience in credit & collections is strongly preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate others. 
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking and predictive analysis. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently. 
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, including learning new software applications. 
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of MS-Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
