This role focusses on pursuing hobbies and interests, providing more structured recreational activities, money management skills, and skills for independent living. This individual enjoys meeting with his wife for lunch or shopping. He is very outgoing and enjoys going to Walmart or thrifty stores, he also enjoys going to circle K for soda. This ideal candidate is outgoing, adventures and open-minded. This ideal candidate should be willing to participate in shopping and taking him to visit his wife.   This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services.  at the agency.     Hours and days of work: Wednesday and Friday 10am-2pm or 11am-3pm Starting pay: Starting pay 19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience. Location: Syracuse NY   Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community. Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred. New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.   Qualifications Must have a valid driver's license  Must be at least 18 years old Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
