Position Summary

The Badging Technician performs a wide variety of specialized tasks in support of the onboarding, badging, access control and visitor management processes of MultiCare Health System; processes badge requests including new issues, renewals, revocations and return of inactive ID badges; collects fees; ensures compliance with MultiCare standards and performs related duties as required.

Responsibilities:

Processes service tickets for Badge, Transportation and Parking requests and inquiries in a positive, professional and timely manner.
Reviews and processes badge and access requests, including reviewing requests for completeness, processing the requests, entering data into software systems as needed formatting and printing badges and arranging their delivery to the requestor while ensuring these processes are in compliance with all MultiCare policies and standards.
Collects and accurately tracks fees for replacement items as needed.
Works proactively with other teams supporting the onboarding process to ensure that badging requests are completed in a timely manner.
Processes parking permit requests
Assists in badging and access control audits. Ensures all necessary corrections to badge and key records are made in a timely manner.
Performs other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Associates degree preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $18.94 - $27.26 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
