• Schedule: Full-Time (5 days/week)

• Assignment: 1-1 position for student with trach and g tube needs

• Start Date: Sept 2, 2026 for the 26-27 SY

• Schedule may include bus riding 
   

About the Role

Hello, LPNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care for students in Lakewood, WA. This role focuses on supporting medically fragile student and/or diabetic students 1-1 throughout the school day, potentially including transportation needs. What You’ll Do

• Provide nursing support to students in school

• Assist with safe transfers, including on/off the school bus

• Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs

• Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure continuity of care

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans

• Support student access to school throughout the day
   

What We’re Looking For

• Active Washington State LPN license (DOH) or Compact Multi-State Nursing License

• Experience with trach care, G-tube required 

• Must have current car registration and Passport or Enhanced Driver's License

• Pediatric experience strongly preferred

• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check

• Reliable, attentive, and comfortable in a pediatric setting
