About the opportunity
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and property assets, monitoring hotel activity, responding to incidents and emergencies, and enforcing safety and security procedures.

What you'll get to do
* Patrol guest areas, public spaces, parking areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure safety and security
* Monitor property activity and report suspicious behavior, safety concerns, or policy violations
* Respond promptly and professionally to guest or employee incidents, emergencies, and service requests
* Assist with emergency response procedures including fire alarms, medical incidents, evacuations, and disturbances
* Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and access control systems

Skills and Experience
* Prior security, law enforcement, military, or hospitality security experience preferred
* Strong observation and problem-solving skills
* Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or difficult situations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic knowledge of emergency procedures and safety practices
* Ability to write clear and accurate reports
* Strong customer service mindset and professional demeanor
