About this role:


This position is responsible for managing all aspects of a portfolio of properties under the guidance of the Regional Property Manager. This includes overseeing leasing activities, coordinating marketing efforts, managing tenant relations, and ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards.


What you’ll do- includes but is not limited to:


Leasing and Marketing: 

  • Develop and implement leasing strategies to attract and retain tenants.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional events to increase property visibility and occupancy rates.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current market and surrounding community.
  • Complete multi-family lease administration, ensuring all leases and addenda are completed fully and accurately and all deposits are collected.
  • Review and approve/deny resident applications

Financial Management:

  • Comply with company guidelines regarding weekly reports, income accounting, etc.
  • Ensure rent payments are collected from current residents.
  • Maintain a broad understanding of federal and state regulations concerning the collection of delinquent accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and report on monthly financial performance.

Compliance: 

  • Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met, including property laws, safety regulations, and lease agreements. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Property Maintenance:

  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the property, including scheduling repairs and managing service contracts. Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Tenant Relations:

  • Manage tenant communication, requests and work orders in a timely manner as required, ensuring follow-up as needed to establish and maintain a positive rapport with residents.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in property management preferred
  • Experience managing multiple properties preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Yardi platforms
  • Proven ability to comply with operational and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Strong familiarity and working knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and anti-discrimination legislation
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
