What You’ll Do

Premier Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Nazareth, PA to help patients improve mobility, comfort, and independence through skilled, supervised therapy services.

Key responsibilities include delivering therapeutic exercise and mobility training, carrying out treatment plans under the supervising Physical Therapist, documenting care in the EMR, and communicating progress with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Required qualifications/skills:
- Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with standard physical therapy equipment and protocols
- Experience with EMR documentation and patient care records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration

A Typical Shift

You’ll follow a predictable onsite rhythm with flexibility built in—often within a 4-day work week (Monday–Friday). The day starts by reviewing the schedule and recent notes, then moving between treatment spaces to support patients through their sessions. Between visits, you’ll update EMR documentation, coordinate quick check-ins with nursing and therapy teammates, and adjust the flow of the day as patient needs change. You’ll wrap up by confirming next steps, ensuring equipment is ready, and leaving clear notes that keep care seamless from one day to the next.
