Job DetailsJob Location: CNHHS - Tahlequah, OK 74464Position Type: Full TimeCherokee Nation Home Health Services in a non-profit health care agency that has been in business for 40+ years. Although, our main office is located in Tahlequah (Cherokee County), we have clinical staff that that provides health care services to 14+ surrounding counties. You do not have to be Native American to apply for CNHHS.  A qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Some duties for an LPN include: Administering Medications and Treatments: Give prescribed oral, topical, and injectable medications, and perform routine treatments like wound care, dressing changes, and catheter care.  Monitor Patient Vitals and Health Status: Accurately measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration), observe patients for changes in condition, and report and adverse reactions or critical changes to the Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.  Document and Chart Patient Information: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including symptoms, care provided, and progress, ensuring clear communication within the healthcare team.  Educate Patients and Families: Provide basic health instructions and information to patients and their families regarding their condition, medication, diet, and self-care techniques.  Collect Laboratory Samples: Collect blood, urine, or other specimens for laboratory testing as ordered by the physician.    QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a state approved school of practical (vocational) nursing and currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
