Job DetailsJob Location: Diamondhead - Tahlequah, OK 74464Position Type: SeasonalEducation Level: High School/GEDSalary Range: $16.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AnyJob Summary:  The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and property at Diamondhead Resort. This role focuses on monitoring activities, enforcing resort policies, and responding to incidents during peak seasonal operations. This position reports to the General Manager.  Job Duties:  Patrol resort grounds, including river access points, campgrounds, parking areas, and common facilities.  Monitor guest behavior to ensure compliance with resort rules and safety guidelines.  Control access to restricted areas and verify guest credentials when necessary.  Respond promptly to disturbances, emergencies, and safety concerns.  De-escalate conflicts and enforce policies in a professional and respectful manner.  Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services, if required.  Document incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities through detailed reports.  Provide general assistance and directions to guests as needed.  Assist with crowd control during high-traffic periods, events, and peak float times.  Other tasks as assigned.  QualificationsRequired Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  Previous security, law enforcement, or customer service experience is a plus.  Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.  Strong observational and communication skills.  Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor.  Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.  Ability to patrol uneven terrain, including riverbanks and wooded areas.  Capability to lift or move up to 25–50 lbs, if needed.  Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s license and a clear background check.  Must be at least 18 years of age.
