The opportunity 

 

The Senior Enterprise Architect is a senior role within Emerging Technology and Enterprise Architecture, responsible for leading enterprise architecture strategy, governance and roadmap execution while partnering across ICT to guide high-value architectural decisions. 

 

What you'll do 

  • Lead the development and governance of enterprise architecture strategy aligned to University priorities and broader ICT direction

  • Provide architectural oversight, strategic advice and future-state planning across systems, platforms and enterprise assets

  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective enterprise solutions and architecture roadmaps

  • Guide enterprise-related projects through influence, technical authority and strong cross-functional collaboration

  • Oversee architectural risk, policy, standards and compliance activity across the enterprise landscape

  • Contribute to technology evaluation, vendor engagement and long-term architecture maturity. 

 

What we're looking for 

  • Extensive experience in enterprise architecture within a university, education or similarly complex ICT environment

  • A strong background in architecture governance, technical design standards and enterprise road mapping

  • The ability to provide strategic advice while building trusted relationships across ICT and senior leadership groups

  • Experience across large enterprise environments, ideally with exposure to ERP or staff-domain landscapes such as SAP, Workday or PeopleSoft

  • Strong communication, collaboration and analytical capability, coupled with sound judgement and adaptability

  • A team-oriented approach and the credibility that comes with deep enterprise architecture experience.
