The opportunity
The Senior Enterprise Architect is a senior role within Emerging Technology and Enterprise Architecture, responsible for leading enterprise architecture strategy, governance and roadmap execution while partnering across ICT to guide high-value architectural decisions.
What you'll do
Lead the development and governance of enterprise architecture strategy aligned to University priorities and broader ICT direction
Provide architectural oversight, strategic advice and future-state planning across systems, platforms and enterprise assets
Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective enterprise solutions and architecture roadmaps
Guide enterprise-related projects through influence, technical authority and strong cross-functional collaboration
Oversee architectural risk, policy, standards and compliance activity across the enterprise landscape
Contribute to technology evaluation, vendor engagement and long-term architecture maturity.
What we're looking for
Extensive experience in enterprise architecture within a university, education or similarly complex ICT environment
A strong background in architecture governance, technical design standards and enterprise road mapping
The ability to provide strategic advice while building trusted relationships across ICT and senior leadership groups
Experience across large enterprise environments, ideally with exposure to ERP or staff-domain landscapes such as SAP, Workday or PeopleSoft
Strong communication, collaboration and analytical capability, coupled with sound judgement and adaptability
A team-oriented approach and the credibility that comes with deep enterprise architecture experience.
