Full-time| M-Thur. | 7am-5:30pm | PG6| Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position. 

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As an Environmental Crew Technician, you will assist in the installation and maintenance of safe and sanitary sewage disposal systems and clean potable water to Tribal member homes within the boundaries of the Choctaw Nation. 

Primary Tasks:

  1. Install sewage disposal systems and water well systems in accordance with Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) rules and regulations.

  2. Perform safety inspections and preventative maintenance activities on waste and water systems,

  3. Operate equipment including backhoe, dozer, trenchers etc. to complete installation or repair of systems when needed.

  4. Transport equipment to and from job sites as needed.

  5. Trouble shoot and make necessary repairs to aerobic and water well systems, and lateral lines.

  6. Perform preventative maintenance on various machines and equipment while adhering to all safety protocols.

  7. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Current Class A Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) with current Medical Examiner Certificate (DOT Medical Card)
  • Mechanically inclined with general knowledge of various technical and mechanical requirements of the job
  • One [1] year of related work experience
