We believe our greatest investments are our people, and we’d love to invest in you.   Who We’re Looking For:   A part-time Office Assistant for our Morningstar Storage facility: a people-person and team player who loves solving problems and organizing, well, everything. Some might call you an overachiever, but you just know how to get things done quickly with quality. We’re looking for someone who can listen, learn, and work alongside our Property Manager to make sure every member of the team is operating toward the same goal: a superior customer experience.   What You’ll Do:  Deliver exceptional customer experiences by building strong relationships, responding professionally to inquiries, and supporting customers.   Support property sales goals by closing sales leads, demonstrating strong phone sales skills, leveraging our technology platform, proficiently following up on all leads, and demonstrating pricing knowledge.  Demonstrate understanding of property operations, competition, and KPIs to support sound business decisions.  Execute daily office operations including customer transactions, phone management, lead tracking, documentation, and administrative programs.  Continually learn property systems, procedures, and best practices through hands-on training, leadership from the Property Manager, and guidance from the broader Morningstar team.  Support the team in maintaining an industry-leading, great-looking property by assisting with cleanliness standards, curb appeal, and overall site organization.  Conduct regular property walk throughs and work independently, adapting to new tools and technology.  Follow policies and procedures and use tools (technology platform, daily checklists, lead-to-lease, delinquency management, etc.) with accuracy and attention to detail.  Take ownership of responsibilities, seek improvements, and demonstrate accountability without constant supervision.  Work collaboratively with the Property Manager and team, maintaining a positive attitude, providing coverage when needed, and following instructions/assignments.  Communicate clearly with teammates to ensure smooth hand-offs and continuity of service.  Other related duties as assigned.  QualificationsWhat You Need:   High School diploma or GED required.   Associates or Bachelor’s degree is always a plus but not required.  Valid driver’s license in the state of employment required for occasional work-related tasks requiring driving.  Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn  Positive, team-oriented attitude with a “can-do” approach  Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently  Pride in contributing to a team focused on operational excellence and customer satisfaction  Proficiency in computer skills required, including Microsoft Office Suite, email, and the ability to navigate multiple systems throughout the workday.  Willingness to work a flexible schedule.  Availability for working weekends is required.    All candidates extended an offer for employment must pass a pre-employment background check.    Benefits:  Competitive pay  401(k) with employer match  Community involvement through Morningstar Cares program.   Potential opportunities for advancement may be available based on performance, company needs, and open positions.  Physical Demands Required:  Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, and move freely throughout the property.   Ability to climb up a ladder and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.  Morningstar Properties is an equal opportunity employer.  Indeed Search Keywords   Office Associate, Office Assistant, Customer Service Associate, Storage Associate, Self-Storage Associate, Leasing Assistant, Front Desk Associate, Administrative Assistant, Property Assistant, Part Time Office Assistant, Self-Storage, Storage Facility, Property Operations, Customer Service, Leasing, Rentals, Sales Support, Lead Management, Office Administration, Data Entry, Team Support, Facility Operations, Microsoft Office, Administrative Support, Weekend Availability, Sales Associate, Sales Specialist, Retail Associate, Assistant Manager
