Maintenance Technician – Multifamily Apartments

Pax Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support two growing apartment communities in Tallahassee, Florida. If you take pride in your work, enjoy solving problems, and want to be part of a team that's transforming apartment communities, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform apartment make-readies for new move-ins.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, carpentry, and other maintenance issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the communities.
• Maintain the grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Assist with inspections and ensure all work meets company standards.
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for emergencies.
• Work closely with the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to provide outstanding resident service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Certification is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general repairs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
