Why You'll Love This Position ✅ Full-time 12-hour night shifts (after-hours coverage beginning at 5:00 PM) ✅ Potential for 12-hour day shifts on weekends and holidays ✅ 3 Days On / 4 Days Off Rotating Schedule Night Shift Differential Weekend Shift Differential Double-Time Pay for Holidays Worked ❤️ Work with an experienced interdisciplinary hospice team committed to exceptional patient care What You'll Do As an On-Call RN, you'll provide compassionate after-hours nursing care throughout our 8-county service area, responding to urgent patient needs, performing assessments, coordinating care with physicians and the hospice team, triaging calls, and providing education and support to patients and families. You'll ensure timely documentation and deliver high-quality hospice care when it matters most. QualificationsQualifications Current Florida RN License (or Compact RN License) Minimum 3 years of nursing experience Hospice or Palliative Care experience required Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and respond calmly during urgent situations Valid Florida driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance Preferred BSN CHPN Certification These qualifications reflect the position requirements.
